Rahmen Oak White Orange Gelb

Canvas print, framed | 30 × 20 cm | Frame in oak, white, orange or yellow | From the Fruit Series

A slice of watermelon, red and juicy, with a green rind and a bite already missing. Summer in a single picture.

The motif comes from my fruit series. I painted it as a watercolor; for the canvas, it is printed in high resolution, stretched over a wooden frame, and framed. On its own, it is a small splash of color; with two or three, it becomes a series for your kitchen.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this an original?

No, this is a print of my watercolor on canvas. I painted the motif by hand; it is printed in professional quality.

Do the motifs in the fruit series match?

Yes. All motifs are painted in the same style, on a white background, and in the same size. They look best as a series above the countertop or as a grid on the dining table. You can see the entire series here.

Which frame should I choose?

Oak and white are the understated choice for almost any kitchen. The colored frames pick up the color of the fruit and make the picture more playful. Feel free to send me a photo of your wall, and I'll tell you honestly what suits it.

Original & Print

Every original is unique

Every design starts as an original in my studio in Cologne, painted or drawn. Sometimes it is already sold, and sometimes its size doesn't fit your wall.

With the canvas print, you still get this exact design: printed from my original, in the size that fits your room, and ready framed.

Art instead of decor

No poster from the furniture store

A picture hangs on your wall for years. It makes a difference whether it is a mass-produced image or a piece of art created by a real person.

How a work is created

Before a canvas print reaches you, it has a long journey behind it. It always begins in my studio.

The original
It begins with a moment I want to capture. In this series, it is a piece of fruit on the table, painted in watercolor.
The Colors
Layers of color, shadows, the very heart of the kiwi. The finished watercolor is digitized in high resolution so that these details are also visible in print.
Your print
Printed with UV-protected inks on canvas, stretched over a solid wood stretcher frame and framed. This ensures your picture arrives ready to hang.

Not sure about the size? Send me a photo of your wall. I'll honestly tell you which size and frame will suit it.
