How does a commissioned work process with me?

We first discuss the occasion, size, and what the painting should convey. From this, I develop my own concept, first as a sketch, then as a color study. You'll see how your painting will look before the first brushstroke touches the canvas. Only after your approval do I proceed, in multiple layers, until the work is complete.
