Art that transforms spaces.
I am Myriam Probst, an artist and sculptor from Cologne. I work with ink, acrylic, oil, and stone. My collection includes original paintings, minimalist fine-line drawings, stone sculptures made from alabaster and soapstone, as well as fine-art prints. I also create custom commissions for your home, practice, law firm, or office.

I draw minimalist black-and-white fine-line works, such as my "Still Woods" and "Lily in Lines" series, paint abstract and figurative pieces in acrylic and oil, and form sculptures out of stone.
My art follows no plan; it simply flows out of me. I often work on several pictures at once, every day on whatever wants to come out of me, unfiltered, without a detour through the head. Not linear, but in waves. That is precisely why every painting is absolutely honest, absolutely authentic, a real piece of me.
"Art does not want to be understood with the head; it wants to be felt."
Before I found my way back to art, I studied design and product development. This time gave me the craft. But what is emerging now was always there, deep inside me, and eventually just needed to get out.
Sometimes I tell the story of what a painting means to me or where the idea came from. In the end, however, what matters most is what it triggers in you. Because it was born from a genuine feeling, you can find yourself in it, recognize yourself in it. That is exactly what I mean when I say: Art does not just want to be understood with the head; it wants to be felt.

Every work contains an emotion, an energy, a moment that carries meaning for me, and which suddenly becomes yours as well, once the picture is hanging on your wall. An original transforms a room. It brings energy, calm, or strength to where there was previously only an empty wall, making it a place that feels like you. Whether it is a large-format original or a fine-art print for your office or practice, every piece is created with the same hand and the same intent. If you would like to buy an original painting or are looking for abstract art for your home, you will find a growing selection in my shop.
I also work on individual commissions—custom painting for your home, practice, law firm, or café. This is not about my visual language, but yours. We develop a concept together based on what you want to convey, and the end result is usually something that surprises you, yet fits you one hundred percent.
Welcome to my studio.
FAQ
Do you also offer custom commissions?
Yes. I develop individual concepts for your home, practice, law firm, or office, based on what you want to express.
What does a commission cost?
A fine-line commissioned drawing starts at 600 euros. A framed acrylic painting from 50 × 70 cm starts at 1,000 euros, a large format from 1 × 1 m at 1,600 euros. Each commission price includes a 250 euro concept fee. A 50 percent deposit is due when the commission is placed, and the remainder before delivery.
What do your originals cost?
My original drawings on paper start at around 120 euros. Original paintings on canvas start at around 450 euros; large-format works are in the four-figure range. Each original is one of a kind.
What do your sculptures cost?
Stone sculptures made of alabaster and soapstone are in a category of their own and do not follow a format-based logic. Material, hardness, and processing time vary greatly, so I calculate each sculpture individually. Get in touch, and I will give you the price for the specific piece.
Do you also sell fine-art prints, not just originals?
Yes. In addition to large-format originals, I offer fine-art prints of my "Still Woods" and "Lily in Lines" fine-line series.
What do your fine-art prints cost?
Fine-art prints are significantly more affordable than originals. They start at around 35 euros, depending on size and framing.
What techniques do you work in?
I paint with acrylic and oil on canvas, draw with ink and fine liners on Hahnemühle paper, and work as a sculptor with alabaster and soapstone.
Where are you based as an artist?
I work in my studio in Cologne.
What are "Still Woods" and "Lily in Lines"?
These are my two minimalist black-and-white fine-line series: "Still Woods" with forest motifs, "Lily in Lines" with lily motifs.
Can I also buy your works outside of Germany?
Yes. I sell through my own shop and Etsy, with shipping to numerous European countries as well as to the USA and Canada.
Do you also do sculptural work?
Yes. In addition to painting and drawing, I also work as a sculptor with alabaster and soapstone.
