Fire Walk is red at full force. Red layers in vertical strokes, gold breaking through between them, and in the upper left a last trace of blue. Nothing about it is calm; everything is movement.

The motif was created in a phase when I stopped planning and gave my inner chaos free rein. This is exactly the energy the picture brings into a room: a statement for a wall that is not meant to be quiet, in the living room, the hallway or the office.

To set the right expectations: this is a print on canvas, and the paint layers are reproduced flat. The motif is available as a print only.

Are the room views real photos?
No, they are digital visualizations with the motif placed in them. They help you judge size and effect.

Which size suits my wall?
As a rule of thumb, a picture can take up about two thirds of the width of the furniture below it. Above a sofa of a good 2 m, 120 × 150 cm has the strongest effect; 80 × 100 cm suits a smaller sofa or a chest of drawers.

White or black frame?
Black makes the red look darker and more dramatic, white makes it fresher and lighter. You can see both versions in the visualizations.
